Lots of charm in this place! Food and wine are very good - typical for the area. There exists no menu. All guests are being served the same food - menu chosen by the chef.

Brilliant 5 course set menu dinner. Set on a working farm with milking herds of cows & goats. The atmosphere was the happiest I've ever experienced. Bedroom simple but comfortable. Excellent breakfast with homemade butter, yoghurt & cake. Lovely, friendly staff.

Wonderful food from the Barba Gust farm cooked in local dishes. Excellent location looking over alpine meadows and Mount Chaberton.

Nice old farm with lots of flowers at the entrance. Lounge in the attic with a view of the Chaberton, restaurant very nicely furnished. We ate there every evening and we had definitely not eaten 50% of the amount we had eaten, but it was absolutely delicious. The landlady was always up to kidding.

In our dialect, Barba Gust means “uncle taste” and “Gust” is the piedmontese transation of the italian name “Augusto”as well. In other words, Mr Augusto Bermond, patriarch of the family who is still a hard worker in the structure, looking after animals and cultivating.
